January 2024 Update - Welcome to our totally revamped compensation set up article! We put a lot of work into making it easier for you to go through and set up compensation plans!

One great aspect of AgencyZoom is the ability to set up custom compensation plans and calculate compensation from right inside AgencyZoom. We've created this article as a step-by-step guide to help you set up your plan. We've broken this out into six sections, each with a video to show you how it's done. Although there's a lot to learn initially, once you wrap your arms around how comp works in AgencyZoom you'll be a pro in no time!

1. Getting Started & Base Pay

For starters, you must be either the Agency Owner or at least have the "Manager w/ Comp Access" permission to access compensation for your agency. In this video, we'll show you how to get your plan started!

2. Commission Tiers

In this video, we'll show you how to set up the commission tiers for your plan.

3. Life & Health Commission

In this video, we'll show you how to set up the Life & Health Commission if it's relevant to your plan. If you don't use AgencyZoom for Life & Health, feel free to select "No" for this section.

4. Bonus

In this video, we'll show you how to set up any bonuses you might have in your plan. If you don't need to set up any bonuses, you can also jump past this tab.

5. Disqualifier

In this video, we'll show you how to set up any disqualifiers. If you do set up a disqualifier, no one will receive commission unless the metric is achieved. If you don't have a disqualifier, just "No" for this tab.

6. Putting it all together!

In this final video, we'll show you how to create the following plan from start to finish.
