The AgencyHR feature in AgencyZoom is designed to help insurance agents better manage all of the administrative tasks associated with managing teams in an easy and effective way.

We have designed AgencyHR after hearing so many stories from AgencyZoom users about the pain associated with managing PTO, onboarding new employees, documenting HR records and much more.

You can now have access to all of the powerful features that AgencyHR offers directly from your AgencyZoom account.

Summary of all of the AgencyHR features

Managing Employee Time Off

The time off management feature within AgencyHR is designed to be self-managed. All you have to do is create a time off policy with all of the accrual rules (how many time off hours an employee earns and when).

Once the time off accrual plan is in place, you can just sit back and we'll take care of the rest.

Employees can then request time off and their manager is notified to approve or decline the request. We keep meticulous records of all the time off requests and status of each request (i.e. approved/declined).

There's also an employee time off calendar that your entire team has access to. That way, everyone is in the loop on who's working and who's not.

Documenting HR records

Did you know that 72% of agents wished they had more data when terminating an employee? Keeping track of HR events is a critical part of running a successful team and a successful business. Just like an insurance policy, you hope to never need it, but if you do, you'll be glad you have it.

Here are some examples of HR Events that you should document:

  • Employee evaluations

  • Performance reviews

  • Failure to follow rules/policies

  • Recognitions

  • Any conversations related to pay or salary

The HR event feature will also allow you to request acknowledgment of any HR Event that you would like to document. That way, you can ensure that both parties are on the same page.

Communicating important messages

Have you ever been in situations where you've emailed something important to your team that required their attention/acknowledgment only to wonder if everyone has received it and acknowledged it?

Let's face it, email is outdated! Communicating something important that requires your team to read and acknowledge it via email is not effective. Imagine that you have just updated the employee handbook and needed everyone on your team to read it. How do you guarantee that your team has read and acknowledged everything in your handbook?

With the AgencyHR broadcast feature, you can! All you have to do is create a new message from your AgencyHR account, add any attachments then send. Everyone that receives the email will be required to acknowledge your message and we'll automatically log all records of their acknowledgment in their HR folder forever!

Time clock

Do you have any hourly employees? If so, it's time to ditch the spreadsheet. AgencyHR's got you covered.

Our beautifully simple time clock allows your team to clock in/out, take breaks and do everything that a well designed time clock does.

You'll have access to their timesheets with detailed reporting. You'll even get alerts should an employee approach over time.

But the best part about the time clock is that it's integrated with AgencyZoom's powerful compensation calculator. When it's time to run your payroll, AgencyZoom will pull all of the clocked hours for your team and automatically calculate their hourly pay.

How to access AgencyHR from your AgencyZoom account

If you have an AgencyHR account, then accessing it from your AgencyZoom account is super easy. If you don't have an AgencyHR account then activating your account is even easier.

Already have an account

  1. Log in to your AgencyZoom account

  2. Click on "AgencyHR" from the left menu

  3. Click on the link to login to your account and type in your credentials. We'll take care of the rest.

Don't have an account?

It's recommended that this is to be done by the agency owner or agency manager. Please make sure to use the same email used for your AgencyZoom account so that we can synch both accounts.

  1. Log in to your AgencyZoom account

  2. Click on "AgencyHR" from the left menu

  3. Click on "Start Free Trial"

Cost? AgencyHR is free for 30 days, after which it's only $3 a user... that's it! You will be required to activate your billing once the trial has expired.
