How to Add a Licensed Life and Health Specialist

There are two methods to add a Life and Health Specialist to your account. For most accounts, you’ll simply assign the “Role” of Life and Health Specialist to the user in question. But for Allstate-based accounts, there’s also an option to add a Life and Health Specialists who- rather than being your own dedicated specialist, is one affiliated with another Agency or Agencies. In this article, we’ll go over both ways of creating a Life and Health Specialist.

Method 1: Assigning a Dedicated Life and Health Specialist

  • Go to My Agency from the main menu

  • Click on About My Agency

  • Scroll the Staff Members section

  • Click the name of the person you'd like to edit

  • Add Life and Health permission then save

Note: The user must log out and log back in for the new permission to take effect.

Method 2: (Allstate Only) Adding an Affiliated Life and Health Specialist

  • Go to My Agency from the main menu

  • Click on All About My Agency

  • Click the +Add Button across from Affiliated Life and Heath Specialists 

  • Complete the mandatory fields and click Save
