Learn how to take advantage of the Winback feature in AgencyZoom

The Winbacks feature in AgencyZoom helps agencies re-engage with former customers or lost leads, giving them a second chance to earn their business. It’s designed to target people who canceled, didn’t buy, or didn’t renew a policy—offering agents a way to follow up at the right time with the right message.

Winbacks can be triggered manually or automatically and often include:

  • A personalized message

  • A request to reconsider

  • A promotional offer or policy review

To access winbacks:

  • Go to the left side menu

  • Click on the three dots, then scroll to the Winbacks section

Once there, you’ll land on the settings page where you can:

  • Select the date for creating a winback lead

  • Select assignees

  • Automatically add a tag

  • Select the destination pipeline and stage

  • Set the term for auto policies.

  • Select how to handle duplicates

  • Apply the changes to previously uploaded winbacks.

You can import winbacks from your AMS or a CSV file.

Once you upload and field-map your winbacks, you’ll be able to see them. Additionally, you’ll be able to see pending lists.

You’ll find workflows such as:

  • Policy Canceled

  • Policy Expired

  • Customer Has Been Inactive for X Days

Winbacks is designed for personal leads and was initially created for Allstate agencies. While other agencies can benefit from the Winback feature, we suggest they utilize the Smart-Cycle to achieve similar results.
