Missing Users in Dropdown Menus

Why is someone missing from the dropdowns?

AMS360 Users - Fix your users not showing up in the dropdowns in AgencyZoom

Updated over a year ago

Don't worry! We hear this one a lot. We're here to help. When you add a lead or a policy, we'll ask you for the Executive and Representative:

You may think that AgencyZoom is missing some people from these lists, so we created this guide to help you understand how those lists are populated.

How we populate this list?

When an Admin user adds or edits a teammate, they are asked to indicate the roles for that person:

If P&C Producer is selected, that user will be shown in the Executive list

If Customer Service Rep is selected, that user will be shown in the Representative list

A user may have more than one role, so it's possible for them to show on both lists.

Maybe you've already added a user into AgencyZoom, but they're still not showing in the list of executives or representatives. Let me guess, you're integrated with AMS360?

In the case of accounts integrated with AMS360, users also need to be field-mapped between AMS360 and AgencyZoom to ensure you don't run into problems with users showing up in the dropdowns, as well as making sure the assigned user in AgencyZoom transfers correctly to AMS360 and vice versa.

To finish setting up a new user in AgencyZoom, head over to the AMS360 Integration page, then select Field Mapping > Sales Producers

If you scroll down to your new user and notice "Please Select" in the dropdown on the right, you can be pretty sure this step will fix the user showing up in the dropdowns. Notice it also tells you what roles they hold in AMS360, make sure those match up with what the roles you want them to have in AgencyZoom!

Once your field mapping looks like this...

Your dropdowns should look a little something like this...

If the user is still missing, on your AMS side check that the employee type as an Exec in the Employee record under the General section. The path is Employee> search employee> select employee> go to Employee Overview> Edit Employee> General, then this:

There you go, all set!
