Sales Dashboard Breakdown

An overview of the dashboard functionality

The Sales section of AgencyZoom’s Dashboard features many different stats and sections. If you’re an admin, it will show stats for the whole Agency. In this article, we’ll go over the specifics of what each section of the Dashboard is showing, and how some of those stats calculate the number it shows.

Sales Goal Stats

Started Today At: Shows how much an Agent or your Agency had achieved at the start of the workday.

Should Be At: Estimates where an Agent or Agency should be this far into the month.

The equation our system uses for Should Be At, is:

Daily Goal * Number of business days in month so far = Should be At

The system looks at the daily goal the agent or agency should be achieving, multiplies it by how many business days have occurred in the month so far, which then results in the Should Be At Number. There isn’t a way to set a “Daily Goal” in AgencyZoom, instead what you set is a Monthly Goal. And then the system calculates that Daily Goal using this equation:


Total Sales Goal/number of business days = Daily Goal

Goal For Today: Shows what the goal for an agent or agency to make today, for them to reach the Monthly Sales Goal on pace.

Should be at – Started today at = Goal for today

So, if you subtract the number for where you “Should be at”, by the number you “Started Today At”, the system will give you the goal for today. It will not take into account the amount you’ve earned today so far.

Still Needed: Shows how much the Agent or Agency will still need to achieve, to reach that goal for today.

Goal For Today – Achieved Today = Still Needed

Monthly Stats

Trending For: Shows how much the agent/agency is estimated to make this month, based on sales so far.

(Currently At/Business days so far this month) * Total business days in month = Trending For

So, by dividing where your agency is currently achieved so far this month by the number of business days in the month so far, then multiplying it by the total number of business days in the month- the system creates a basic estimation of how much your Agency or an Agent may make by the end of the month.

Vs Last Month: Calculates how much lower or higher the number you’re trending for- is compared to the number the agent or agency hit last month.

Last Month: Shows what the Agent or Agency achieved last month.

Currently At: Shows how much the agent or Agency has made so far this month.

Started Today At + Achieved Today = Currently At

Of Goal: Shows what percentage of your monthly goal has been achieved so far.

Goals, Charts, and Summary

The numbers in the bottom section are more self-explanatory- showing how much agents are achieving. It’s split into four sections:

Today’s Goal: Where you can view a Producer’s Goal for Today, and how much they’ve achieved so far today. If they have reached their goal for the day, they’ll be listed as “On Pace”. If they have not, it will list how much is still needed for them to reach their goal for the day.

Monthly Goal: Where you can view a Producer’s Monthly Goal, how much they’ve achieved Month To Date, and what they’re trending for this month.

Chart: Shows every producer’s progress as a bar graph.

Summary: Where you can view the straightforward stats of each producer. You can click on a Producer’s name, to see in depth details on their sales.
