RingCentral - How to Integrate Your Direct Line (non-admin users)

Send Text messages using your own Ring Central number

We all know text messages have a very high contact rate and virtually a 100% open rate. With AgencyZoom + RingCentral, you can use your existing number to send and receive text messages.



How it works

This is a true 2-way API integration, which in non-nerd talk means... it's AWESOME!

After you complete the integration we'll use your number when you send texts, and when they are automatically sent on your behalf.

If you send a text from AgencyZoom, it will show in your RingCentral softphone. If a Lead/Customer replies to you, it will show in both RingCentral and AgencyZoom.

AND... if we are integrated with your management system, we'll automatically put it in there as well.

All of this without having to port a phone number, and the setup takes less than 30 seconds!

NOTE - If you do not integrate your own number you can still text, but your text will be sent from the Agency's default number until you connect your direct line.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1 - Click the Profile Icon in the bottom right corner then click RingCentral Settings

Step 2 - Click Connect

Step 3 - Sign In on the popup using your RingCentral account login info

Step 4 - Authorize AgencyZoom + RingCentral

ALL DONE!

How to send a text?

Manually to Leads - On the side dock you'll now see a TEXT option at the top. Just click that and you can manually send a text. You can even load text templates that your agency previously created.

Manually to Customers - In the customer's profile you will now see an option to send text messages. You can even load text templates that your agency previously created.

Lifecycle Automation - An admin user can add text messages to automation sequences so that your leads get follow up text automatically, and your customers get onboarded and retained automatically.
