ACH Payments

AgencyZoom now supports ACH payments!

Benefits of ACH:

  • Lower risk of fraud: Bank account details are less prone to theft compared to credit card numbers

  • Added security: Identity verification through pre-authorization or micro-deposits versus payment processing with just the credit card number, exp date, and CVV

  • Fewer intermediaries: ACH payments move directly through a secure network, while credit card payments move through multiple intermediaries - adding more points of vulnerability

How to update your payment method to ACH:

  • Navigate to My Agency > My Account > Saved Payment Methods

  • Under 'Add a New Payment Method', select "US Bank Account"

  1. Sign in with Bank Credentials (Instant Verification - Recommended)

    1. Select your bank account

    2. Log in using your bank's secure authentication

    3. Once authenticated, your bank account is linked, and future payments can be processed

  2. Manual Verification

    1. Select "Enter bank details manually instead"

    2. Provide your routing number and account number

    3. There will be two microdeposits (less than $1) sent to your account within 1-2 business days

    4. Check your bank statement, note the transaction details, and enter them in the verification prompt

    5. Once verified, your account is linked and future payments will be processed


Service request templates

You can now create pre-defined descriptions for service requests in your pipeline settings. These templates include placeholders that automatically populate relevant details when you create a request. This makes creating service requests faster, reduces errors, and helps you collect the right details upfront.

Example: If you manage driver changes on auto policies, your template can pre-fill with the driver details:

When creating a service ticket, the description will auto-fill, so you only have to enter the new insured's information.

💡Quick tip: Leverage placeholders for any fields already stored in AgencyZoom to automatically populate your descriptions!


Automated quote document attachment

You no longer need to manually send quote documents via email! Now, you can set up an automated email touchpoint that includes your email template and it automatically attaches any quote documents.

How it works:

  1. Set up an email touchpoint in your stage with your preferred template.

  2. Enable the new option to attach quote documents automatically. (See image below)

  3. Drag the lead into the stage with the touchpoint, and the email will go out—no manual steps required!

💡Quick tip: If you have multiple quotes, it will attach all of them in the email so make sure your email language makes sense for 1 or more quote scenarios! Additionally, if there's not a quote attached, the automated email will still send.


Reinstate written policy

You no longer need to manually re-enter policy details when reinstating a canceled policy. Now, you can locate the inactive policy and select “Reinstate Written Policy” to restore it instantly—active and appearing in the new business reports.

How it works:

  1. Find the inactive policy in your system.

  2. Select “Reinstate Written Policy.”

  3. The policy is restored without needing to re-key any details.

Complete open AMS360 suspense when closing/ canceling AgencyZoom task

Completing a task in AgencyZoom has always completed its corresponding suspense in AMS360. Now, when you "cancel" or "close" a task in AgencyZoom, it's suspense will also be completed. No need to jump over to AMS360 to close it out.

Where are tasks canceled or closed?

  • Task dashboard (action menu on task)

  • Task list

  • Moving a service request to completed

  • Moving a lead to sold (check system settings > Task Manager)
