How to activate Click-to-Call using Twilio
Setting up click-to-call using Twilio allows you to make calls from within AgencyZoom using Twilio as your service provider. Twilio is also unique in its ability to let you make phone calls "from" any phone number. This means you can customize your caller ID to display your office number despite using a Twilio phone number.
In this video, we explain how you can make calls using Twilio and how to set the caller ID to display as your office number. This simple yet powerful feature will allow any agent to connect their office number to AgencyZoom and make calls that display their direct line in the caller ID. It's important to note that if you are going to be using Twilio as a provider, then separate charges will apply.
Forwarding Calls made to your Twilio number to your Office Number
How to forward all incoming call attempts to your Twilio number to your office number
One obstacle in using Twilio to text is the need to purchase a new number. But what if your client attempts to call you back at that number, then what?
This is where call forwarding comes in. Let's say that you've purchased the phone number 614-555-5555 from Twilio so that you can start texting your clients from AgencyZoom. In your Twilio integration settings, you can direct any call attempt to 614-555-5555 to be forwarded to your office number.
In this quick video, we show you exactly how to do this.

Why Twilio?
Twilio is a VOIP service provider that many CRMs use to text and make calls to their customers. Twilio allows software companies to either be a reseller of Twilio's services or integrate with personal Twilio accounts. We believe in creating a product that can be truly helpful and affordable to any agency. To do this, we are using Twilio as a VOIP provider, but we have no interest in becoming a reseller and upcharging you for a service that you can get for a fraction of the cost by going directly to Twilio.

How do I set up the integration between AgencyZoom and Twilio?

Also, remember!
Due to compliance laws, all VoIP providers will require you to go through a compliance process if you intend to text using their platform. This is commonly known as "A2P" or "TCR" registration. It includes a verification that you are a legitimate business, as well as the intended use for your phone system. Each phone provider should have a process or documentation in place to help you get registered. The process can take weeks to receive approval, so the earlier you can start on it, the sooner you can text in AgencyZoom!
