Lifecycle Automation Settings

Overview of automation settings

Updated today

Lifecycle Automation controls how automations behave across your pipelines. These settings help ensure your communication feels natural and prevent unnecessary follow-ups.

To access these settings, go to:
My Agency > System Settings > Lifecycle Automation
(Admin permissions required)

Execute steps on business days only
When enabled, automation steps will only run on business days. This helps messages feel more realistic and increases the chances of getting a same-day response from your team.

Automatic Unenrollment - Leads
When enabled, leads will be removed from an automation when they reply to a message or contact you outside the sequence. This prevents situations where a lead responds and still receives follow-up messages asking if they are interested.

Automatic Unenrollment - Onboarding
When enabled, customers will be removed from onboarding automations if they respond. This is typically not recommended, since onboarding workflows are designed to deliver all steps regardless of replies.

Automatic Early Recycle
When enabled, Smart-Cycle leads will automatically move back to the NEW stage if they reply or reach out. This ensures that re-engaged leads are immediately returned to your active pipeline.

When a lead or customer is unenrolled, an activity record is logged so you can track communication history.
