Allstate 2023 Preferred Bundling
In accordance with Allstate's 2023 commission structure updates, we've made some enhancements in AgencyZoom that will allow you to track and pay commissions on preferred bundled households.
Household Bundle Type
When adding a standard auto + home/condo to a client, you'll notice that the client will now be designated as Preferred Bundled. Bundled and Monoline customers will also have the applicable bundle status indicated.
New Sales
The new sales window has been updated to confirm the bundle status of the customer. Policies that are not entered in AgencyZoom can be cross-referenced so the bundle status is correct.
Bundle Status Reporting
We've added a new report, Bundled/Monoline by Producer, to display a breakdown of your book of business by bundle status. This will allow you to identify which producers are preferred bundling and bundling the most, while also identifying potential account rounds.
For commission, you'll notice 4 new commission tier advancement metrics:

Updated the label UI to be more descriptive of each status.
Added a help icon (?) to outline the qualifiers for each status.
Select to open the Bundle Status label to open the detailed pop-up.

Commission Rate by Bundle Status

We appreciate your feedback and understand how critically important commission is for our Allstate users. The below enhancements have been released to help provide a user-friendly solution to a complex commission structure.
Commission Rate by Bundle Status
You can differentiate the commission rates for each bundle status by following these steps:
Select Allstate as the carrier
Define which policy types the commission tier will apply to
Select your the tier advancement metric (metric that will increase the commission rates) and be sure to select "flat rate" for how the commission rates are applied to the tiers
**You must select "No" for chargebacks in order to calculate different commission rates based on bundle status.**
Below is a sample in which the producer will receive 4% commission on monoline, 6% on bundled, and 8% on preferred bundled policies. If the producer sells 15 baseline items in the month, their commission jumps to 6%, 10%, and 12% respectively.
Updates to Commission Explained
When viewing the commission (select the commission total and expand the Worksheet), the calculations are shown pertinent to each bundle status.
Updates to Comp Statement
Download and open the comp statement to view the line items with bundle status. On page 2, the calculations are present.
