If you have an email through Microsoft (either a free @outlook.com email or a business Office 365 email) or an email through another provider, you're in the right spot to get connected.
Outlook / Microsoft365 / Other Email Providers
Outlook / Microsoft365 / Other Email Providers
1. To initiate the connection, an admin will need to go to My Agency > Integration, and then scroll down to Outlook or Office365:
If you're using a free outlook account (@outlook.com) you'll typically use the Outlook option. Business emails through 365 (@customdomain.com) will use the Office365 tile.
2. Once you click on the specific email tile, type in your email to the box (e.g. email@outlook.com, email@customMicrosoftdomain.com).
3. A window will pop-up where you can follow the prompts to enter your password and connect your email. When you're successful, the window will close out and you'll see that you've been connected.
Other Email Providers
Other Email Providers
1. To initiate the connection, an admin will need to go to My Agency > Integration, and then scroll down to the email and calendar section. If you have an email provider other than Google, Yahoo, or Microsoft you can click on any of these email providers.
2. Once you click on the specific email tile, type your email into the box.
3. AgencyZoom will attempt to identify the email provider you're using in the pop-up, if it's correct you can enter the password and click log-in. If it's incorrect, click on the "Select a different provider".
4. You can select your provider from the list or click "See all providers" at the bottom:
5. From here, you can attempt to locate your email provider to log in. You can also use the custom IMAP settings at the bottom. If you're having difficulty connecting, you may want to reach out to your email provider to get specific server information to connect. When you're successful, the window will close out and you'll see that you've been connected.
Nicely done! If you hit the end of the instructions and see this "Connected Email" you successfully connected your email.
Once that's done, you have options on how your emails come into AgencyZoom, see this article for specific information on doing so: Email Settings in AgencyZoom
Once an admin has initiated the connection to an email provider, other users only need to mouseover their name/silhouette in the lower left and go to "Email Settings" to reach the same page:
A few things to note before we let you go:
1. Each user that wishes to use their email in AgencyZoom needs to connect their individual email.
2. Calendar integration is dependent on the email provider. Typically Google Workspace and Office365 are the emails with calendar integration. Give the integration a few minutes to confirm if your calendar will integrate.
3. Any type of "free emails" like @outlook.com are not typically intended for business use. Keep in mind that free emails typically have limits on how many recipients or emails can be sent in a given day. If your email volume needs to be higher or you want more support from the provider, consider using an email tailored for businesses like Microsoft or Google Workspace as they may may provide more flexibility.
