If you have an existing Yahoo email account, you have the capability to connect it to AgencyZoom.

To Connect your Yahoo Account:

1. Beginning from your email in Yahoo, mouseover your name in the upper right and click on the "Account Info" button.

2. On this page, click on the "Security" button at the top:

3. Scroll down on this page to the "Account Access" area and click on the "Generate and manage app passwords" option:

4. Fill in the "app name" and then click "Generate password"

5. On the next screen, click on "Copy" here:

6. In AgencyZoom, an admin will need to go to My Agency > Integration, and then scroll down to Yahoo:

7. Enter your yahoo email address and click connect:

8. Once the admin has clicked on Yahoo, other users only need to mouseover their name/silhouette in the lower left and go to "Email Settings" to reach the same page:

9. On the popup, enter your App password and click Log In. Again, this is not your email password, this is the password you copied from Yahoo.

Nicely done! Once you have your email connected, you have options on how your emails come into AgencyZoom, see this article for specific information on doing so: Email Settings in AgencyZoom. A few things to note:

1. Each user that wishes to use their Yahoo account will need to create an app password and log into their own email.

2. The Yahoo Calendar is not compatible with AgencyZoom and will not sync.

3. Yahoo emails are "free emails" and not typically intended for business use. Due to this, Yahoo has limits in place on how many recipients or emails can be sent in a given day. Yahoo does not disclose the specific limit, but keep this in mind if you're using free Yahoo accounts in AgencyZoom. If your email volume needs to be significantly higher, consider using an email tailored for businesses like Microsoft or Google Workspace as they may may provide more flexibility.
