If you have an existing free Gmail account, you have the capability to connect it to AgencyZoom. This applies to any emails that end with @gmail.com. If you have an email through Google Workspace, please go here instead: Google Workspace Email

To Connect your Gmail Account:
Ensure you are signed into your Gmail account, and go to the following link: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords. You should land on the following page, where you need to enter AgencyZoom for the "App name" and click "Create".
You will need to copy the code that comes up by either writing it down or selecting and copying the code.
In AgencyZoom, an admin will need to go to My Agency > Integration, and then scroll down to the email providers and select ANY of the providers. It does not matter which one is selected at this stage.
On the next screen, you must enter an incomplete email address. It's easiest to enter your email as "example@gmail.co", you cannot use your full email here or it will attempt to sign in through Google and fail. You should have a screen pop up that allows you to select the "View All Providers" option seen here:
Select the "IMAP" option at the bottom of this list:
Select the IMAP option again on this list:
On the next screen, you will need to enter your actual email address (example@gmail.com). Use the app password for Gmail, and fill in the IMAP and SMTP info as follows, then click next:
At this point, the popup should close and you should see the email in AgencyZoom shows "connected".
Once the admin has clicked on Yahoo, other users only need to mouseover their name/silhouette in the lower left and go to "Email Settings" and then repeat steps 4-8.
Nicely done! Once you have your email connected, you have options on how your emails come into AgencyZoom, see this article for specific information on doing so: Email Settings in AgencyZoom. A few things to note:
1. Each user that wishes to use their Gmail account will need to create an app password and log into their own email.
2. The free Gmail Calendar is not compatible with AgencyZoom and will not sync.
3. Free Gmail emails are "free emails" and not typically intended for business use. Due to this, Gmail has limits in place on how many recipients or emails can be sent in a given day. You can Google search something like '@gmail.com email limits' https://www.google.com/search?q=%40gmail.com+email+limits to find out more. If your email volume needs to be significantly higher, consider using an email tailored for businesses like Microsoft or Google Workspace as they may may provide more flexibility.
