When you sign up for AgencyZoom, you can immediately begin using our built-in email sender to send one-time, batch, or automated emails. This is a great option if you have an incompatible email, you don't have permission to control or connect your email to AgencyZoom (e.g. you're not the owner of your email domain), or you don't want the responsibility or extra cost of having your own email domain.

If you're in one of the first two scenarios, you can always go to your email/system managers and request permission to integrate your email, or you can create your own email through another email provider to integrate. If you're in the third scenario, AgencyZoom's email sender is right up your alley.

How it works

This is an example of an email from AgencyZoom's email sender.

Three important pieces to know about these emails:

1. The name at the top is directly tied to the Staff Member's name in your "All about my agency" setup. This of course, will change depending on which user in the system is sending the email.

2. The "From" email address is notifications@agencyzoom.com

3. When the recipient clicks on reply, the "Reply To" email address will change to whichever email you have setup in AgencyZoom as your login email.

Closing Takeaways

1. When using AgencyZoom's email sender, AgencyZoom can only see the emails you send from AgencyZoom, not replies to your emails. That means your outgoing emails from AgencyZoom will show up in the lead/customer's activity log, but replies to the email won't show up.

2. If a recipient sends an email directly to the notifications@agencyzoom.com email, the email will not go through and they'll get a failure message. This is a good reason to always have your email address in your signature so that a recipient can easily find your contact information.

3. It is not a bad idea to ask your customers and/or prospects to add notifications@agencyzoom.com to their recipients to avoid having these messages go to spam. Remember to still practice good email practices as your emails can still go to spam if you have content that an email provider is going to flag.
