How to set up texting using Twilio integration

Twilio is a cloud communications platform that allows you to send and receive phone calls, text messages, and perform other communication functions. With our new integration, you are now able to reach out and connect with your clients directly from AgencyZoom.

How is texting used in AgencyZoom?

Once you've activated texting, you'll be able to set up automated texting workflows to text prospects and/or customers, or you can directly text clients from their profile or by using the Conversation tab. 

Why Twilio?

Twilio is a VOIP service provider that many CRMs use to text and make calls to their customers. Twilio allows software companies to either be a reseller of Twilio's services or integrate with personal Twilio accounts. We believe in creating a product that can be truly helpful and affordable to any agency. To do this, we are using Twilio as a VOIP provider, but we have no interest in becoming a reseller and upcharging you for a service that you can get for a fraction of the cost by going directly to Twilio.

How do I set up a Twilio account?

Setting up a Twilio account is really easy! Head over to Twilio's Website to start setting up an account. You can even create a free trial and integrate it into AgencyZoom to see how it works!

Can I port my number over, or do I have to buy a new number?

Yes, you can port your existing number! Please read this guide from Twilio on what you need to do to port your current phone number into Twilio so that it can be used in AgencyZoom.

How do I setup the integration between AgencyZoom and Twilio?
